Lennart Zipfel has been appointed as the new CFO of FREENOW, effective today, 5 February 2025, succeeding Johannes Prantl, who is retiring from the company.
With over 11 years of experience in financial consulting and having spent 6 years at FREENOW in various management roles, Zipfel has played a key role in the company’s financial processes and was previously the Vice President of Finance.
Zipfel expressed his commitment to ensuring financial stability and sustainable growth for FREENOW, which achieved break-even status in mid-2024, setting a strong foundation for future goals.
FREENOW, founded in 2009, aims to reinforce its position in the European taxi market while expanding its multi-mobility services across over 150 cities, as acknowledged by CEO Thomas Zimmermann.
