MSC World America has successfully completed sea trials in the Atlantic, testing various systems ahead of its official delivery on March 27.
The ship’s naming ceremony is scheduled for April 9 at MSC’s new cruise terminal in Miami, followed by its inaugural journey to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas on April 12.
Designed for the U.S. market, the 333.3-meter ship can accommodate 6,762 guests and features seven onboard districts, including 19 dining venues and eight bars and lounges.
MSC plans to continue its fleet expansion with the launch of MSC World Asia in 2026 and another World Class ship in 2027.
