The Costa Diadema cruise ship has begun removing tablecloths from its restaurants to reduce water, chemical, and energy consumption, the first mainline cruise ship to do so.

Leimer explained that the ship’s food and beverage offerings include menus curated by Michelin-starred chefs, tailored to the destinations and incorporating local products.

The Costa Diadema features the exclusive Fiorentina Steakhouse, which offers an extensive selection of meats, seafood, and lighter fare, adding to the diverse dining options available onboard.

Massimo Leimer, food and beverage director aboard the Costa Diadema, shared: “we are adapting to the latest trends and passenger preferences, particularly focusing on sustainability in operations. It’s a tradition to have a menu with all courses, including a starter, a first course, and a main course, along with cheese and dessert,” ensuring a comprehensive culinary experience for guests.
