Marcus White is selling the hotel for €4.75 million, featuring 113 bedrooms and numerous facilities for events and accommodation.
The venue includes 1.8 acres with on-site parking, tennis courts, and a lawn, attracting both locals and visitors.
The annual match-making festival thrives, encouraged by Jim White’s efforts in the 1970s to promote the town and hotel.
After accommodating refugees from Ukraine, The Hydro is poised to return to its core function of helping singles find partners.
Marcus White shared: ‘We sought to extend the match-making season by welcoming LGBTQ+ visitors to The Outing. The Hydro proved a haven since then. The hotel is expected to return to its heritage of transforming the world’s singletons into happily married couples and families.”
