A sales trip to Asia involving Tourism Ireland and eight tourism enterprises will visit Beijing, Shanghai, and Seoul over eight days, featuring five B2B events. Over 1,000 commercial meetings with travel professionals are planned.
Participating enterprisess include Game of Thrones Studio Tour, GroupMeals, Irish Brand Homes, Kildare Village, Rachel Sunshine International Ltd, Stena Line, Titanic Belfast and Zatino Travel.
Aisling McDermott of Tourism Ireland shared, “It’s a great opportunity for our tourism partners from Ireland to inform and influence the Chinese and South Korean travel professionals they meet about what the island has to offer and, importantly, to encourage them to include the destination in their future programmes and recommend it to their clients.”
