Tourism Ireland has partnered with GoPro to promote Ireland as an adventure travel destination.

Seven GoPro brand ambassadors captured exciting content while exploring Ireland in May, showcasing landscapes from Dublin to the Wild Atlantic Way.

The campaign aims to generate 50 million opportunities to see and reach potential travellers in the US by leveraging a combined following of over 3 million on social media.

Content will be shared on GoPro’s platforms, including YouTube and Instagram, along with Tourism Ireland’s own social media channels.

Alison Metcalfe conveyed excitement about the partnership, focusing on the demand for active travel experiences in Ireland: “Tourism Ireland is really excited to partner with GoPro for the first time, to shine a spotlight on Ireland as a must-visit destination for adventure travel. The island of Ireland overdelivered in every way – from stunning landscapes and jaw-dropping castles to the friendliest locals and entertaining live trad music and Irish dance.”
