Vagabond Adventure Tours is based in Newtownmountkennedy and has been awarded the Travel + Leisure Magazine’s World’s Best Award of the top 15 tour operators worldwide for the second time in 2025.
Founded in 2002 by Rob Rankin and Amy, Vagabond offers unique vacation tours inspired by overland experiences in southern Africa.
It received anapproval rating of 97.32 from the of readers of Travel + Leisure Magazine. The company also won an award at the Fáilte Ireland’s Employer Excellence Awards for best employer tour operator in May 2025.
