Star Princess to debut two original theatrical productions & candlelight concert series

Princess Cruises announced that the new Star Princess will showcase a fresh entertainment lineup upon its debut later this year. The vessel will feature two original theatrical productions, a candlelight concert series, and performances from artists across 24 countries.

New shows on the Princess Arena will include “Meridian,” set on a fictional ship called the Celestial, and “Illuminate: A Spectacle of Joy,” which has a nostalgic circus theme.

Additional experiences on the Star Princess include the “Princess Cruises Candlelight Concert Series” and the “Celestial Champagne Soirée,” both designed to enhance the in-ship entertainment.

The Star Princess is set to enter service in early October, introducing innovative shows and a variety of musical presentations.
