Celebrity Cruises announced the cancellation of the sailing on Celebrity Beyond that was scheduled for 20 July 2025 due to technical issues affecting the ship’s speed.
The cruise line notified guests via Facebook, explaining that additional time is needed for necessary assessments and repairs.
Guests are offered a full refund, Future Cruise Credit worth 100pc of their fare, and reinstatement of any originally used Future Cruise Credit.
Refunds will be automatically processed within 14 business days, with assistance provided for guests who booked flights through Celebrity Cruises.
The company will cover change fees of up to $200 for domestic flights and $400 for international flights, as well as offer one night of hotel reimbursement up to $250.
Celebrity Cruises shared, “We sincerely apologise for this unexpected change and the disruption this causes to your travel plans. While our teams have been working diligently, we need additional time to complete necessary assessments and repairs. Refunds will be processed automatically within 14 business days. We would cover change fees of up to $200 for domestic flights or $400 for international flights. An additional night of hotel reimbursement up to $250 will be offered.”
