
Norwegian Cruise Line has announced a transformation of Great Stirrup Cay on the Bahamas, including a new waterpark opening in summer 2026. The Great Tides Waterpark will comprise nearly six acres, featuring 19 waterslides, a dynamic river, and cliffside jumps.
Additional attractions will include a mini aquatic racecourse, a new heated pool, and an island-wide tram service for easier navigation. The waterpark will also feature unique elements such as bioluminescent grotto tunnels and a spacious kids’ splash zone.

NCL shared, “The waterpark will also feature a river with an accelerated current spanning 800 feet. Additional highlights will be introduced at the waterpark in due course. The completion of the Great Life Lagoon.”
