Killorglin based Fexco acquires Sainsbury’s Travel Money business

Fexco Group, located in Killorglin, has acquired Sainsbury’s Travel Money business, enhancing its presence in the UK market. The acquisition includes responsibility for over 220 physical outlets and digital platforms within the Sainsbury’s retail network.

This move expands Fexco’s reach to over 460 locations and positions it among the top five in the retail foreign exchange sector.

Fexco will access over 18m Nectar members, the UK’s largest loyalty programme, increasing opportunities for travel money solutions. Integration of the Sainsbury’s Travel Money brand is set for early 2026, with no immediate changes for customers expected.
