
Türkiye hosted 26.4m visitors in the first half of 2025, marking a 1pc increase from last year. Tourism revenues reached US $25.8bn up 7.6pc
The average nightly spending by international visitors rose to US $109, with an average stay of 10.0 nights Irish arrivals increased by 20.1pc, with 98,131 visitors recorded from Ireland between January and June
The top three source markets for Türkiye were the Russian Federation, Germany, and England.
Tourism minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy shared, “Despite many geopolitical challenges that have happened in the first half of the year, Türkiye continued its sustainable growth in the tourism industry. Looking ahead to the next six months, we are confident that we will meet our year-end target of $64bn in tourism revenues.”
