A new Dart station at Woodbrook will officially open on Sunday, making it the 147th station on the Irish Rail network.

Constructed to support local residential areas, the station will provide transport for approximately 2,300 homes in Woodbrook and Shanganagh. Funded by the National Transport Authority, the initiative aims to decrease reliance on private cars and assist Ireland in meeting climate action targets.

Minor adjustments have been made to scheduled services to accommodate the new station and enhance overall service performance.

Customers can find a full list of timetable changes on the Irish Rail website for impacted services.

Irish Rail spokesperson shared, “We look forward to welcoming a new community to our services, with Woodbrook serving both existing and new developments. We also advise customers on DART and Rosslare, Drogheda and Maynooth / M3 Parkway lines that there are some minor time changes on a number of services, both to cater for Woodbrook Station, and to improve service performance.”
