Lyft, Inc. has completed its acquisition of FREENOW, combining resources to become a leading multi-mobility app.
The Lyft app has been accessed 4.6m times in FREENOW’s markets since the beginning of 2024, while FREENOW has been accessed 1.2m times in Lyft’s markets. New offers for riders include up to 50pc off their first ride across the FREENOW and Lyft networks until the end of 2025.
Both companies plan to strengthen their services for drivers and riders, with a focus on the taxi industry in Europe. Lyft and FREENOW will integrate their platforms while maintaining the local strengths of FREENOW in European markets.
