Oceania Cruises is introducing the Oceania prefix on all ship names, following the naming convention with other ships across the  Norwegian Cruise Line group.

The company’s fleet currently includes eight ships, with Oceania Allura entering service in mid-July. Oceania Sonata and Oceania Arietta will be the names of new vessels set for delivery in 2027 and 2029.

The existing Oceania Insignia is being sold to Crescent Seas and will be withdrawn after a farewell season.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises adopted its naming convention with the launch of Seven Seas Navigator in 1999. All of the company’s subsequent newbuilds later adopted the ‘Seven Seas’ prefix on their names.”
