Norwegian Cruise Line is the latest cruise line to alter the itineraries due to Hurricane Erin.
The Norwegian Aqua will now sail to Saint John in New Brunswick instead of Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard. The Norwegian Jewel also adjusted its schedule, departing from King’s Wharf a day early to avoid storm conditions.
Guests will receive a $100 non-refundable onboard credit and a 20pc future cruise credit for any sailings through December 31, 2026.
Other ships diverted due to the storm include MSC World America and Liberty of the Seas.
Norwegian shared “when a change is necessary, it’s never just a line on a map. We completely understand how disappointing it is when weather disrupts a long-anticipated itinerary. We’ll make every effort to bring you ashore and create the best experience possible. We are hopeful you will have the opportunity to step ashore and enjoy everything this remarkable destination has to offer.”
