Chinese owned and Dublin based CDB Aviation’s pre-tax profits decreased to €6m from €60m the previous year.
Revenue fell to just over €930m from €1.1bn in 2023. CDB Aviation’s fleet grew to 521 aircraft, including outstanding orders for over 200.
The year was dogged by legal actions in Dublin involve claims worth €2.5bn from multiple international aircraft lessors. CDB Aviation faces a multi-million-euro legal bill after abandoning a High Court action.
At the time Ms Justice Eileen Roberts shared, “CDB were fully entitled to litigate in this manner, but they must bear the costs consequences of their decision to do so.”
