Bob W hospitality to open 143-room apart-hotel in Donnybrook

Bob W, a Finnish tech-powered hospitality provider, plans to open its first apart-hotel in Donnybrook, Dublin, comprising 143 bedrooms.

Developer Keith Craddock’s Red Rock Donnybrook Ltd has submitted a planning application to Dublin City Council for a seven-storey development on the Circle K petrol station site. The new proposal follows the rejection of a previous application for a 10-storey, 225-bed student accommodation project on the same site.

A planning report indicates that the Donnybrook area has a significant under-supply of tourist accommodation, with only 93 aparthotel bedrooms within a 2km catchment area. The decision on the planning application is expected in November, with the development anticipated to enhance urban accommodation options.
