LAX AerialLAX has reopened the upper departures and lower arrival level roads into the Central Terminal area.

All terminals were cleared as of 10:45pm. Flights ET505 and EI144 had departed for Dubin as normal.

Andy Neiman of Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations section tweeted; “Report of shooting at LAX proven to be LOUD NOISES only. No shots fired; no injuries. Investigation continues to locate source,”

Video emerged of police converging on a man dressed as Zorro and armed with a plastic sword outside one of the terminals and arresting him. The man in costume can be heard shouting at police, “it’s a plastic sword” as they surrounded him with their guns drawn. A woman could also be heard saying, “he didn’t do anything”, as police arrested the man.
