Brendan Maguire, founder and managing director of If Only, said: “We identified a gap in the market for those who want to experience this part of the world, but who want to do it in style, so we’ve been working on the launch of our Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands portfolio for over a year. We’ve recruited some of the best in the industry for their wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure that we can offer our agents hotels, resorts, cruises and tours that fit seamlessly with If Only’s existing products and services. It’s also a fantastic way to celebrate our 15th year of operation. We can offer underwater tours of the Great Barrier Reef, stunning train journeys across the dusty outback and breath-taking helicopter flights over a live volcano in Rotorua. We’ve teamed up with some exceptional hotel partners to create truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences, from a luxury tented camp offering unparalleled views of Ayres Rock and exquisite hotels nestled in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, to intimate boutique lodges with an unrivalled attention to detail. Adding the romance and beauty of the Polynesian Islands is a natural addition to our Indian Ocean portfolio. The over water bungalows of Bora Bora in French Polynesia are on many a seasoned traveller’s bucket list and the Cook Islands the more established Fiji are a pearls in the mighty Pacific Ocean that are just waiting to be discovered.”
