Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas, an Icon-class ship, is to enter service earlier than planned on 11 July 2026, ahead of its original 2 August 2026 schedule, offering three additional Western Mediterranean cruises.
The new sailings, departing 11, 18, and 25 July 2026 from Civitavecchia, include stops in Naples, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, and Marseille.
Guests booked on the original inaugural sailing can switch to the new dates, with suite passengers offered price protection for the 11 July cruise.
Passengers in interior, ocean view, and balcony cabins will transfer at prevailing rates, maintaining like-for-like staterooms.
The early completion allows Royal Caribbean to expand its inaugural season, catering to families seeking Mediterranean holidays.
Royal Caribbean shared: “Our teams have been working diligently to deliver to you an iconic family holiday, and the ship is progressing ahead of schedule. As a result of this early completion, we’ve added three new sailings to our inaugural season showcase.”
“Understanding that some guests may value being the first onboard, and others look forward to celebrating the inaugural voyage, we want to give you the first choice and the flexibility to switch sailings, add an additional sailing, or stay on your currently booked sailing.”
