
Travel Portland has relaunched in Ireland, partnering with Black Diamond to promote the city as a must-visit destination.
Initiatives include travel trade partnerships, agent education, FAM trips, and media strategies focusing on Portland’s makers’ scene, gastronomy, and LGBTQ+ community.
New attractions include Cascada, Portland’s first underground thermal springs spa, and the James Beard Public Market, opening in summer 2026. Portland’s International Airport (PDX) recently remodelled its main terminal.
The strategy targets 2026 travel trends, including sports tourism, with Portland as a stopover for FIFA World Cup host destinations.
