avid neelBreeze Airways received US flag carrier certification, enabling its international debut in early 2026 to Cancún, Punta Cana, and Montego Bay. Dublin is among the target destinations for the airline.
Services will operate from six US airports: Charleston, New Orleans, Norfolk, Providence, Raleigh/Durham, and Tampa. A new crew base in Raleigh, opening in Q1 2026, will create over 200 pilot and cabin crew jobs, supporting the expansion.
The airline operates a fleet of 54 aircraft, including 42 A220-300s, 10 E190s, and 2 E195s, per ch-aviation data. The international routes aim to deliver the same convenience and experience as Breeze’s domestic flights.
David Neeleman shared: “Becoming a US flag carrier is a huge milestone for Breeze. We’re excited to bring the same convenience and elevated experience they love about our domestic flights to three exciting new international destinations.”
