The High Court ordered Colm Wu to pay €2.1m to three companies under liquidators’ control.
Wu consented to disqualification from acting as a company director, with duration to determine later.
Payment terms require €750,000 by December and the remainder by April. The Revenue Commissioners are owed about €1.5m of the €2.1m due from Wu. Liquidators of Castor Ventures Ltd, Clifton Court Hotel Ltd, and NCR Property Ltd pursued claims of reckless trading and asset misfeasance.
