Pre-tax profits at Sugarloaf Ventures Ltd, owners of Powerscourt Hotel, rose 74pc to €3.52m in 2024.
Revenues increased 12pc from €26.29m to €29.51m. Accommodation income grew from €13.5m to €15.5m while food and bar income rose from €9.05m to €10.45m. Numbers employed increased from 297 to 342 with staff costs up from €9.72m to €10.85m. Cash pile rose from €5.27m to €5.6m with shareholders’ funds at €3.48m.
