ECTAA 131st semi-annual meeting convenes in Rabat Morocco today and tomorrow for travel agent and tour operator representatives.
The gathering will discuss industry trends and regulatory changes while exploring Morocco as a key destination. Topics include shaping tourism’s future with environmental and digital transformation challenges. Sessions cover inclusive tourism local impact and the role of AI in travel personalisation. The association represented 80,000 travel agents and tour operators across Europe.
ECTAA shared in a written statement: “These are the topics that will be discussed during the meeting: Shaping Tourism’s Future: addressing evolving challenges in the travel sector such as environmental pressures, social concerns like unbalanced tourism, digital transformation, and sustainability, with a focus on embracing change and collaboration to benefit travelers, businesses, and communities.”
