
Airbnb has revealed the winners of its 2025 Rural Tourism Fund that supported creative projects in rural Ireland.
Communities in Bantry created an accredited Dark Skies Park with the funding. An e-bike touring company developed in Spanish Point to enhance local tourism. A new procession emerged for the Cavan Arts Festival to boost cultural events.
The event at European HQ in Dublin recognised top rural hosts and celebrated contributions.
Airbnb shared in a written statement “these projects showcase the creativity, imagination and commitment of rural communities, while at the same time supporting jobs and livelihoods.”
