Uniworld have named sustainability officer Julie Higgins godmother of the S.S. Emilie. She will name the ship on 21 March 2026 before its inaugural sailing on the Rhine River.
Higgins oversaw Uniworld’s global sustainability strategy after 20 years with the company. The brand published its first sustainability report in 2022 under her charge.
The S.S. Emilie became Uniworld’s first newbuild since 2020 inspired by Emilie Floge and Gustav Klimt’s work.
