Dublin airport’s main runway R10/28 will be operational again Thursday night Sept 15 having closed for three nights to facilitate site investigation works on the main runway as well as essential grass cutting close to this runway.

Dublin airport says this work forms part of the upkeep and maintenance of the runway system at Dublin Airport and is critical for the safe operation of the airport. For operational reasons this work, which is weather dependent, must be carried out at night.

The work started Monday, September 12 and continued from 11pm to 4.45am each night until Thursday morning September 15.

Aircraft using Dublin Airport land and take off on the north/west south/east runway known as R16/34. Dublin Airport regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by these essential runway works.
