Villa Vie Residences plans to launch a new luxury cruise brand named Project Lumina.
The company appointed Chris Cox as president of Project Lumina. Mr Cox will oversee vessel acquisition and full-ship conversion planning. Private residences prices start from €499,000 for Oceanview and €832,000 for Balcony Suites. Project Lumina will operate in parallel with the contemporary Villa Vie Odyssey.
Villa Vie Odyssey cruise ship was delayed four months in Belfast Harbour before departing on September 30, 2024. The cruise ship couple who bonded while ship stranded in Belfast are planning a return trip to city – while others sell cabins and move on
Gian Perroni and Angela Harsanyi met during daily commutes from hotels to the ship while repairs occurred.

The couple got engaged in summer 2024 along the River Lagan and held two weddings on board in Costa Rica in 2025.
Gian and Angela planned a return visit to Belfast on the ship’s three-and-a-half-year global itinerary.
Other passengers sold cabins after the extended stay while the newlyweds embraced the perpetual cruise lifestyle.
Kathy Villalba shared “Chris’s appointment marks a significant milestone in our evolution as the global leader in residential life at sea.”.
Chris Cox shared “I’m thrilled to join Villa Vie at such a defining moment for the brand and for the category.”
