Dromoland Castle is seeking planning permission for facility upgrades.
The planned alterations will be completed ahead of the 2027 Ryder Cup. The Hotel plans to add 13 new rooms by converting the stables. Planned developments include lakeside sauna cabins and enhanced wellness area. Even two years ahead of the event, both Dromoland Castle and Inn at Dromoland have only a few rooms left for the Ryder Cup.
GM Mark McSorley shared “It is a more elevated rate than what we would normally get for September. It is nothing outrageous. It was in 2024 when we signed that contract and we are very happy with it.”
