AE Expeditions appoints Madeline Georgiadis as global PR director

AE Expeditions has confirmed the appointment of Madeline Georgiadis as Global Director of PR & Communications. The role strengthens the company’s marketing and communications during its next growth phase. Georgiadis brings experience from P&O Cruises Australia and Carnival Cruise Line where she led PR programmes, integrated campaigns, and large-scale events. She will direct the global PR strategy from the Sydney head office and report to Chief Marketing Officer Katie Malone. The appointment supports AE Expeditions’ focus on responsible expedition travel as a certified B Corp.

Georgiadis will build worldwide media relationships and communicate the brand’s purpose-driven narrative across markets. Her background includes sustained media coverage in trade and consumer channels. The move aligns with AE Expeditions’ leadership in voyages to remote destinations. Teams will collaborate globally to advance the company’s objectives. The appointment took effect in January 2026.
