Australian TV show Great Outdoors filming in Ireland

Tourism Ireland has teamed up with the Seven Network to film segments for the Australian TV series The Great Outdoors. The crew has visited locations in Kilkenny, Clare and along the Causeway Coastal Route for three episodes that reach approximately 1 million viewers per episode this summer. Filming took place with support from Fáilte Ireland and Tourism NI.

The presenter Teigan Nash filmed at Highbank Orchards, Kilkenny Design Centre, Mount Juliet, Burren Smokehouse, The Burren Perfumery, Aillwee Burren Experience, The Gobbins, Glenarm Castle and Tracey’s Farmhouse Kitchen. Activities included breadmaking and canoeing at Strangford Lough. The series spotlights Irish scenery and outdoor activities.
