Purchasing prime hospitality real estate in central Barcelona is incredibly competitive due to tight municipal regulations restricting new hotel licences. This purchase aligns with the firm’s Value-Add and Core-Plus investment approach, and they intend to implement value-creation strategies to further elevate the property’s profile. It follows closely on the heels of their acquisition of Casa Joan Bertrand on Passeig de Gràcia earlier in the year.
