Croatia Airlines eyes unified fleet in 2027, profit in 2028

Croatia Airlines has been completing its fleet-wide transition to A220 family aircraft. The carrier has acquired thirteen A220-300s and two A220-100s with six deliveries of the A220-300 still pending. CEO Jasmin Bajic shared details on supply-chain constraints.

The project first took place in October 2022. The airline has planned a return to profitability in 2028. Bajic has remained cautious regarding geopolitical instability and jet fuel prices together with a 20 pc increase in passenger fees at Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport.

The fleet transition has progressed according to schedule with flexibility built in for production capacities at Airbus.
