TS Travel Realisations Ltd, the original owner trading as Tripsmiths, TS Tours and TS Travel, based in Woking in Surrey, England, has officially ceased trading as an ATOL holder on 6 August 2026. The Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed the development affecting customers and agents holding bookings under the brand’s ATOL licence. The specialist operator focused on escorted tours and unique experiences.
The original parent firm went into administration on 14 May 2026. However, all existing customer holiday bookings will proceed as planned without disruption because the business assets were acquired. The Travel Network Group bought the brand and assets, and it now operates continuously under Tripsmiths Travel. All forward bookings continue to be protected through a franchise arrangement with the Travel Trust Association.
Consumers requiring assistance or direct verification of their booking have been advised to email the Travel Trust Association at enquiries@thetravelnetworkgroup.co.uk. The acquisition has ensured continuity for travellers while the ATOL holder status of the original entity has ceased. The development has highlighted the importance of financial protection for consumers booking with specialist tour operators.
Travel Trust Association shared in a written statement “all existing customer holiday bookings will proceed as planned without disruption because the business assets were acquired, and all forward bookings continue to be protected through a franchise arrangement with the Travel Trust Association.
