French football legend Eric Cantona has surprised customers and staff at Newbridge Silverware when he unexpectedly popped in for a spot of lunch. The former Manchester United star enjoyed a leisurely afternoon at the Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre in County Kildare dining in the Silver Restaurant before taking some time to explore the popular visitor attraction. One of football’s most recognisable personalities Cantona is regarded as one of Manchester United’s iconic players becoming an influential figure at the club during the 1990s.
Following lunch the Frenchman took some time to enjoy the Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre home to the company’s extensive showroom and the Museum of Style Icons which has hosted numerous famous faces over the years. Cantona’s visit added another celebrated name to the impressive list of international stars and personalities who have passed through the doors of Newbridge Silverware.
Located in Newbridge County Kildare the Visitor Centre has become one of the county’s best-known visitor attractions combining shopping dining fashion and entertainment history under one roof.
