Europe’s airports have condemned the Westminster Government decision to introduce airport slot usage alleviation for summer and winter 2026. The move disregards the Recommendation from the European Airport Coordinators Association despite no demonstrated jet fuel shortage. Airlines gain flexibility to adjust schedules under the new rules.
