Fáilte Ireland has hosted its Global Inbound Workshop 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sligo in association with Tourism Ireland. The event brought together 55 Irish tourism businesses to pitch directly to 20 international tour operators from Europe, the USA and Asia. The operators who help place Ireland on global itineraries for 2027 and beyond also took part in bespoke tours of the region.
The workshop operated on a structured programme of pre-scheduled one-to-one sales meetings across three intensive daily sessions. Beyond the boardroom attending international buyers participated in bespoke familiarisation tours throughout the region allowing global distributors to experience Sligo’s hospitality and outdoor landscapes first-hand.
Fáilte Ireland stated the workshop highlights the quality of Ireland’s tourism product across the Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland’s Ancient East, Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands and Dublin. By focusing on international inbound travel channels the event drives sustainable regional tourism growth and ensures that the West of Ireland remains top of mind for global vacation planning.
