Fergus Group has reassumed management of the Don Juan Resort in Lloret de Mar under a new long-term operational agreement. The owner of the property chose to replace the previous operator with immediate effect returning the reins to the Balearic hotel chain led by founder and executive chairman Pep Cañellas. With 795 rooms the complex holds the distinction of being the largest hotel in Catalonia by accommodation capacity.
This agreement strengthens the Mallorca-based Fergus Group’s presence in the region bringing its operational portfolio in Catalonia to six hotels totalling more than 2,100 rooms. Additionally the group plans to expand its regional presence further with the scheduled 2028 opening of the five-star Fergus Style Port Ginesta in Sitges.
The Don Juan Resort Affiliated by FERGUS is a prominent four-star destination located near the town centre. Composed of three distinct buildings the resort features two outdoor swimming pools, an indoor heated pool, a multi-age entertainment programme and a dedicated kids club. The property sits roughly 450 metres from Lloret de Mar’s old town and a short 10-minute walk from the main beach.
