Finnair has officially adopted Avios as the currency for its Finnair Plus loyalty programme.
The airline announced the plans last summer and confirmed the adoption of Avios from March 2024.
Finnair joins oneworld partners British Airways, Iberia, and Qatar Airways in using Avios for their frequent flyer programmes.
Finnair Plus members will be able to transfer Avios between Finnair Plus and British Airways Executive Club accounts, and the new model includes increased availability of award seats and milestone benefits for members within tiers.
