The Irish Heritage Trust has appointed Dan Barrett, Brendan Byrne, Susan Frankish and Cliona Murphy to its Board of Directors. The new members bring expertise in heritage management, finance, governance and digital transformation. The appointments support the organisation as it marks its twentieth anniversary in 2026.

The Irish Heritage Trust, founded in 2006, cares for historic buildings, gardens and collections across Ireland. It manages properties including Johnstown Castle Estate, Fota House and Strokestown Park. The Trust works with communities on conservation and education initiatives.

The new board members contribute experience from corporate, museum and public sector backgrounds. The organisation advances conservation projects at several sites.
