La Dolce Vita Orient Express has unveiled new luxury rail itineraries for 2027 across Italy. The journeys include links between Rome, Portofino, Venice, and Florence. A wine-focused route features Bolgheri and Verona.

New itineraries include Rome, Portofino, Venice and Tuscany. The Italian Wine Route focuses on Bolgheri and Verona. A Rome to Venice route travels via Bolgheri. The Truffle Route takes travellers to Alba in Piedmont’s Langhe hills. Onboard design features 1960s and 1970s Italian decor by Dimorestudio. Fine dining experiences are curated by chef Heinz Beck.

Guests depart from the private La Dolce Vita Lounge at Rome’s stations. The lounge offers live music and local aperitivos. Private transfers are included. The expansion emphasises slower travel, regional cuisine, and cultural heritage. The train links historic cities and wine regions across Italy.
