Leonardo Hotel Dublin Christchurch has officially completed a €7.6m refurbishment programme, marking a significant milestone for the city-centre property and reinforcing its commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
The extensive investment saw all 182 guest bedrooms completely refurbished, alongside significant updates to the hotel’s public areas, including a full refurbishment of the reception and bar, with the restaurant also refreshed. The refurbishment introduces a contemporary new design throughout the property, creating comfortable, welcoming and functional spaces for today’s leisure and business travellers. As part of the project, air conditioning has also been installed in every guest bedroom, further enhancing guest comfort year-round.
The refurbishment, designed by Cunningham McLean, has created modern accommodation throughout the hotel. The upgraded room mix now includes 164 standard bedrooms and 18 executive rooms, alongside an increased offering of eight family rooms and 100 triple rooms, making the hotel an even more attractive choice for families, groups and city-break visitors.
Kate Dowling shared “We are delighted to unveil the completion of this €7.6m refurbishment, representing a significant investment in both our hotel and the experience we offer every guest. From our signature DREAM beds and luxurious rainfall showers to the addition of air conditioning in every bedroom and newly designed social spaces with wireless charging facilities, every element of the refurbishment has been carefully considered.”
