Lough Erne Resort is encouraging grandparents to make the most of the Halloween school break with a new getaway created especially for granny grandad and their grandchildren. This new Skip-Gen Adventure taps into the growing appeal of holidays that leave Mum and Dad at home and give grandparents and grandchildren the opportunity to spend uninterrupted quality time. The school holiday provides the perfect excuse for an autumn adventure in the Fermanagh Lakelands enjoying afternoon tea, playing golf or simply celebrating the novelty of travelling together.

Guests can choose an overnight stay in the Resort with a limited number of connected rooms available or opt for one of Lough Erne Resort’s spacious two or three-bedroom lodges offering families additional room to relax together in their own space. The package includes a hearty lakeside breakfast followed by a fun-filled dip in the Thai Spa’s infinity pool. Granny and Grandad can also enjoy some well-earned relaxation in the sauna and steam room.

The experience also introduces two activities designed with memorable grandparent-grandchild bonding in mind. A Granny and Me Afternoon Tea offers an opportunity to dress up settle in and enjoy one of the great small pleasures of a hotel stay together while a Grandad and Me Toptracer Golf session brings a more playful twist to time on the driving range using the same ball-tracking technology seen on golf tournaments on TV.
