Mount Congreve reveals details of 2026 garden festival

Mount Congreve Gardens has revealed details of its new Garden Festival on Sunday 10 May 2026 from 9am to 5pm. Up to 23 specialist nurseries take part in the plant fair while a headline talk by Elmer Dool covers the making of a great garden. Admission to the festival is free with garden entry tickets available on the day at a 20pc discount.

The event coincides with coordinated visits to other Waterford gardens that include Lismore Castle Gardens, Cappoquin House and Gardens, Dromana House Gardens, Tourin House and Gardens and the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens with special admission offers. Dining is available at the Stables Café.
