
The new Connemara Pony Heritage Centre at Connemara National Park will be opened today by Fianna Fáil T.D. John Connolly at 2pm.
The centre is free to visit seven days per week and accessible for all including wheelchair users. The experience celebrates Connemara pony unique equine personality and contribution to Irish life and heritage.
The centre shares history, legacy, tradition and culture of Connemara pony in story, narration and visual exhibits. On-site exhibits combine digital and traditional imagery and film with potential learning for all age groups.
