Ras Al Khaimah welcomed more than 670,000 visitors in the first half of 2026, marking its strongest first-half performance on record. Domestic arrivals rose 47pc year-on-year, with May the strongest single month in the destination’s history. The RAK Moments domestic campaign delivered 224,000 room nights, AED 104.4m in room revenue and 127,817 incremental visitors in Q2, up 67.1pc year-on-year.
Wynn Al Marjan Island is on track for 2027, with 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, an immersive production from Punchdrunk, and dining concepts from Alain Ducasse and Delilah. SAIJ Mountain Lodge by Mantis, the first mountain lodge on Jebel Jais, is set for Q4 2026, offering guided treks, organic farming, beekeeping, stargazing and wellness rituals. Rotana Ras Al Khaimah – The Mangroves opens in Q3 2026 with 258 keys.
Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is developing a new VVIP terminal set to open in early 2027. Skyports air taxi operations are targeted from 2027, with Al Marjan Island as the first node. An astronaut training programme is launching in H2 2026 with Action Flight Aviation and BLINC Space.
