Riviera Travel River Cruises has opened sales for its 2028 itineraries, covering departures across the Danube, Douro, Rhine, Moselle, Main, Rhône, Seine, Dutch and Mekong waterways. This includes sailings aboard the new Riviera Rhapsody, which debuts in April 2028 on the Dutch Waterways and Rhine River. In parallel, the company launched “The Riviera Moment” collection of exclusive new experiences available on four best-selling itineraries, offering exclusive access to venues, private performances, expert-led encounters and celebrations that bring travellers closer to the history, artistry and traditions of each destination.
The Blue Danube River Cruise includes private access to the House of Strauss in Vienna, beginning with welcome drinks before an exclusive classical concert in the historic Strauss Hall, followed by time to explore the Strauss Museum. Departures featuring this experience begin in April 2028 and are priced from $2,649 per person. The Rhine Cruise to Switzerland includes an exclusive visit to Kloster Eberbach monastery and winery in Germany’s wine country, featuring a sparkling wine reception, private tour of the historic abbey, regional wine tasting, and a private concert in the Romanesque Basilica from May 2028 priced from $3,349.
The Burgundy, the River Rhône and Provence River Cruise features an exclusive reception and concert in a private villa amid the vineyards of Tain-I’Hermitage, with a Saint-Péray welcome reception and Rhône wine tasting followed by live musical performance from March 2028 priced from $2,949. The Seine, Paris and Normandy River Cruise includes private access to the Musée des Impressionnismes Giverny with personal insight into the Impressionist movement, followed by drinks and local canapés in Giverny from April 2028 priced from $3,149.
