Royal Caribbean has expanded its Artist Discovery Programme to the Legend of the Seas, part of the Icon Class. The initiative provides emerging artists from the Caribbean and Central America with opportunities to showcase their artwork to a global audience of millions of holiday makers. Submissions are open from 10 February to 1 March 2026 via the dedicated programme website. This builds on the programme’s evolution to promote local talent across diverse regions.
The Legend of the Seas will feature these artworks during its 2026 deployments, including 7-night Western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia) in summer 2026. In November 2026, the ship will transition to the Caribbean, offering 6-night Western Caribbean and 8-night Southern Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, visiting destinations such as Aruba and CuraƧao. The programme enhances onboard cultural experiences for passengers.
This development aligns with Royal Caribbean’s focus on enriching vacation offerings through community engagement and artistic exposure. It supports emerging artists by integrating their work into high-visibility cruise environments.
Royal Caribbean shared in a written statement “The evolution of Royal Caribbean’s Artist Discovery Program continues on board the newest Icon Class vacation, Legend of the Seas, this summer. Designed to provide local, emerging artists with the opportunity to showcase their work to global audiences, the program has expanded to give artists across the Caribbean and Central America the opportunity to display their work forms of vacationers who will set sail for years to come.”
